Studio over view-hello.....is anyone there?
It seems as though Chad (my studio mate) and I are constantly re-arranging the studio to suit our needs.
Currently we both work so much at the computer that we are trying to come up with ways to make use of the space. So far a dance club is the most popular choice.
All of our books and research material are also a topic of discussion. It seems that everything is just a click of the mouse away. It's interesting to me how little I use the physical material around me and rely instead on the computer. And although Pinterest has almost taken away the need for "style" boards, I still like thumbtacking things to the wall. I just do less and less of it.
What about you? Do you notice that you work differently? If you are an illustrator do you still paint everything or are you mainly on the computer? It is something that I resisted for awhile but now I find that I enjoy the combination of painting and technology. It enables me to do more and to be more creative which is something that I never thought I would say. I am curious to hear your thoughts and hope that you will take the time to share.
Where I sit and paint the bits and pieces that go into the computer.
