Mary Engelbreit Artist Workshop

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending Mary Engelbreit's Workshop in St. Louis. I met my friends Lori Siebert and Janet Zack, both from Cincinnati, and we stayed with Lori's friend Diann Cage in the beautiful Central West End.
My instructors included Kaari Meng from The French General, Linda Solovic, Wendy Addison and Charlotte Lyons. I also snooped in on Kathy Curotto's classes and took a few photos. It was such an inspiring weekend that Lori and I decided we had to get together and create a line of some sort. I can't wait to see what we come up with.

Lori Siebert, Janet Zack, me and Margo Tantau from Hallmark.

My Victorian moss Whimsy from Wendy Addison's class.

We got to tour Mary's offices and studio. I loved this little still life on her windowsill.

The reception area and front door at Mary Engelbreit's offices.

One of Mary's "inspiration" boards.

Amy Barickman and I. One of the best parts of this trip was getting to meet people that I have admired and worked with. Amy is one of them and Leigh Standley of Curly Girl Design is another.
Leigh and her name tag.

Award Ribbons made in Kathy Curotto's class.

Kathy brought lots of great stuff for all of us to work with.

Charlotte's sample tray. I wish I could paper my kitchen with that vintage wallpaper.

The bird that Lori made in Kathy's class.

One industrious woman made a scrapbook before the event was over and displayed it at the luncheon. Clearly she wasn't out carousing like we were.
